The Rotarians and young people wish to have a multi use centre with the main emphasis on youth. They have organised a date for a meeting with the Town Mayoress to talk about how it will work and to answer any questions she might have about the advice centre. The date of the meeting is 7th of July Click here for more details .

The group have recently visited a youth advice centre in Chapel St Leonards called "The Cage". After seeing what was happening there and how it worked, all were very excited to see a similar project put into action in Spilsby. The next step for Spilsby Youth Council and the rest of the group is to become constituted.

Some buildings have been identified that would be suitable for this project, one of which is an old school building which might be sold to the town council.

We also are supporting the 'Spilsby Skating and BMX club' they now have land which is rented off the town council which they are aiming to build a skatepark on. The Ourtown team are going to be helping them to become constituted.

They are always aware of keeping a positive image of both their sport and young people.

Ourtown is also assisting the group fund raising and being aware of the wider community and how to best serve the commuinty as a group of young people. The group will be partnering with other groups in the town and in particular supporting the 'Crime Prevention Scheme' in Spilsby.
